Obniżone libido
Etiologia i przyczyny

  • Problemy z komunikacją – trudności w wyrażaniu potrzeb seksualnych i oczekiwań mogą prowadzić do frustracji i obniżenia libido.5354
  • Nierozwiązane konflikty – długotrwałe napięcia i konflikty w związku mogą negatywnie wpływać na pożądanie seksualne.5556
  • Brak zaufania – problemy z zaufaniem, wynikające z zdrady lub innych trudności w relacji, mogą hamować libido.5758
  • Rutyna seksualna – przewidywalność i monotonia w życiu seksualnym mogą prowadzić do zmniejszenia zainteresowania seksem.5960

Wpływ leków i substancji psychoaktywnych

Styl życia i czynniki środowiskowe

Bóle i dyskomfort podczas stosunku

  • Zmiany fizjologiczne – u kobiet menopauza powoduje zmiany w obrębie pochwy (suchość, ścieńczenie śluzówki), które mogą prowadzić do dyskomfortu podczas stosunku i obniżenia libido. U mężczyzn mogą wystąpić problemy z erekcją.106107

Czynniki kulturowe i religijne

  • Restrykcyjne przekonania religijne – niektóre rygorystyczne interpretacje religijne mogą prowadzić do konfliktu wewnętrznego i poczucia winy związanego z pożądaniem seksualnym.112113
  • Nierealistyczne oczekiwania – przekazy medialne i kulturowe mogą kształtować nierealistyczne oczekiwania dotyczące seksualności, prowadząc do rozczarowań i obniżenia satysfakcji seksualnej.114115
