Neurodermatitis, czyli liszaj prosty przewlekły, to przewlekła dermatoza charakteryzująca się intensywnym świądem i pogrubieniem skóry w miejscach narażonych na drapanie. Kluczowym elementem profilaktyki jest przerwanie cyklu świąd-drapanie poprzez unikanie mechanicznego uszkodzenia skóry, skracanie paznokci, stosowanie opatrunków ochronnych oraz okluzyjnych rękawiczek czy skarpet, zwłaszcza nocą. Systematyczna pielęgnacja skóry z użyciem emolientów stosowanych co najmniej raz dziennie, po kąpieli w letniej wodzie oraz delikatne osuszanie skóry, jest niezbędna do zapobiegania zaostrzeniom. Należy unikać drażniących kosmetyków, długich kąpieli i wysokich temperatur wody. Identyfikacja i eliminacja czynników wyzwalających, takich jak stres, przegrzanie, suche powietrze, alergeny środowiskowe i pokarmowe, a także drażniące tkaniny, stanowi podstawę skutecznej profilaktyki. Wspomaganie terapii technikami relaksacyjnymi i odpowiednią dietą, bogatą w kwasy omega-3 oraz eliminującą alergeny, może dodatkowo zmniejszyć ryzyko nawrotów.

Neurodermatitis (inaczej liszaj prosty przewlekły) to przewlekła choroba skóry charakteryzująca się intensywnym świądem i pogrubieniem skóry w miejscach narażonych na ciągłe drapanie. Choć całkowite zapobieganie tej dolegliwości może być trudne, istnieje szereg działań profilaktycznych, które mogą pomóc w kontrolowaniu objawów i zapobieganiu nawrotom.123

Przerwanie cyklu świąd-drapanie

Fundamentalnym elementem profilaktyki neurodermatitis jest przerwanie cyklu świąd-drapanie, który stanowi główny mechanizm patogenetyczny tej choroby. Jest to niezwykle trudne wyzwanie dla pacjentów, ale kluczowe dla zapobiegania nawrotom.124

  • Unikanie drapania i pocierania zmian skórnych – nawet przy intensywnym świądzie należy powstrzymać się od drapania, ponieważ prowadzi to do pogorszenia stanu skóry i nasilenia objawów

W łagodnych przypadkach neurodermatitis często wystarczy nawilżanie skóry raz lub dwa razy dziennie przy użyciu zwykłego kremu pielęgnacyjnego, aby całkowicie zapobiec objawom.8 Niezwykle istotne jest zapoznanie się z kodem INCI na produktach i wybór tych, które zawierają jedynie niezbędne składniki fizjologiczne bez potencjału alergizującego.11

Identyfikacja i konsekwentne unikanie czynników wyzwalających zaostrzenia neurodermatitis jest kluczowym elementem profilaktyki. Do najczęstszych czynników prowokujących należą:91213

Chociaż całkowite wyleczenie neurodermatitis nie jest możliwe, to odpowiednie działania profilaktyczne mogą znacząco zmniejszyć częstość i nasilenie zaostrzeń, poprawiając jakość życia pacjentów.34 Predyspozycja do neurodermatitis nie może być wyleczona, ale przy odpowiednim postępowaniu, we współpracy z dermatologiem, objawy mogą być znacznie ograniczone pod względem częstości i nasilenia, a nawet można im zapobiegać.34
